BPP II is an abbreviation for Buyer Protection Plan II which was a full 12-month/12,000 mile new car warranty and a full 24-month/24,000-mile engine and drive train warranty.
The car was converted to dual fuel use in 1980.
The car ran primarily on propane fuel until 1998.
Propane tank and fittings still available - but not part of sale.
Will consider separate offer for propane equipment.
The car has been in daily use up until 2002. The ailments of increasing age and inability to bend, move, flex, and do all the neat things younger men easily do made me give up on my fix and repair skills. A medically induced balance problem sharply reduced my driving ability since July of 2002. This fall I've resumed driving but my preferred vehicle is either a pickup or an easier to handle Cadillac.
Complete engine rebuild 9/15/1989 at 245545 miles
I do not have complete service records.
I do have major service records.
I do have all the shop manuals, window sticker, BPP II material, EPA Sticker, Pre-Delivery Service Procedure and Record, 1977 Consumer Information handout, the original owners manual, and the pocket 1977 Service Specificaitons (which includes Pacer, Gremlin, Hornet and Matador).
This car is for sale to a serious collector. It is fantastic. It handles like a dream and has power to spare.
It does need attention. If you are seriously interested contact me by e-mail.
